Nigel Slater




I have many cookbooks and love watching cookery programmes.

When it comes to Autumn and Winter there is no better cook than the wonderful Nigel Slater.
To me, he is pure comfort and warmth.

I love the simplicity and Hygeeness of his recipes. He is a delight.  He is also a fantastic writer and the way he describes food is pure joy.

This year I have purchased The Christmas Chronicles.  Part journal notes, anecdotes and recipes, it starts in November and ends the beginning of February.

My plan is to read each daily entry each day starting today.  I even might try some of the recipes throughout the seasons.
